Dr. James Cornell
Dr. James (Jay) has lived in BC since early childhood, and has lived on Vancouver Island, with the exception of a 4 year stay in Vancouver while attending Dental School at UBC, since 1979. He completed his Bachelor of Science in 1984 at the University of Victoria. Upon completing his degree, he was accepted to the Faculty of Dentistry at UBC in 1986, graduating in 1990. After initially working in Victoria, Dr Cornell opened a practice in Mill Bay in 1992 and eventually relocated his practice to its current location in Cobble Hill in 2005.
Dr. Cornell has been married to his wife, Nancy, since 1990, and they have 2 children, and two dogs. He enjoys golfing (poorly), and riding motorcycles.
Dr. Dustin George
Dr. Dustin George was born and raised in Leamington, Ontario. He completed an honours degree in Biochemistry at The University of Western Ontario in 2006. Upon completing his degree, he worked as a researcher for one year at UWO’s Biological Mass Spectrometry Laboratory. Dustin completed dental school at The University of British Columbia in 2011. After a year of working in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, Dustin returned to the coast and has been with Cobble Hill Dental since the summer of 2012.
Dustin’s clinical experiences include local and international charitable dental missions, hospital-based dentistry, and clinical instruction. Dustin is an active member of the South Cowichan Rotary Club. He is also an Adjunct Clinical Instructor for UBC’s Faculty of Dentistry, where he organizes and participates in local student-based dental missions which improve the delivery of dental services to First Nations communities.
